The Sharing Excellence Partnership is led by Dunraven School, a PGCE Lead Partner with University of Roehampton delivering teacher training programmes. We have a decade and more of successful delivery of school-based School Direct programmes and more than 30 years’ experience of teacher training.
The Sharing Excellence Partnership is part of the Dunraven Educational Trust a group of successful schools in Lambeth and Wandsworth. The Trust believes schools have a moral imperative to create the best educational provision that they can in order to serve the needs of their community effectively. This is the foundation of our approach to teacher training.
Since the School Direct route began in 2012, we have trained almost 200 primary and secondary teachers for our schools and beyond, many now in middle or senior leadership roles. We work closely with our main training provider, the University of Roehampton, to provide supportive mentoring and effective school placements, offering the right balance of challenge and support for our trainees to enable them to become outstanding teachers, giving our young people the educational opportunities they deserve.
